How many Endermolift treatments (Cellu M6 Facial) are needed to get a result?
From the first session the results are visible: your skin is velvety, your complexion is radiant! To obtain deeper results, the treatment must be repeated to maintain over time the desired changes. Indeed, the CelluM6 is a non-aggressive and effective anti-aging cellular stimulation, which activates the synthesis of collagen and elastin while promoting cell renewal. It is therefore the repetition of this cell stimulation which gives the skin the appearance of health and tone while maintaining similar results. The anti-aging cellular stimulation by CelluM6 is part of a healthy lifestyle, like going to the gym to stay in shape, in addition to having a radiant and rejuvenated complexion, this effective, non-invasive technique prevents premature aging of cells.

Can I eat at Ovarium?

You may want to bring a small snack.  You also have the option to buy nuts at a reasonable prices.

Where does the word Ovarium come from?

“Ova” was the trademark of a floatation bath manufacturer in the 1980s. The word “Ovarium” contains the Latin ovum, meaning egg, which refers to the ovoid form of our floatation baths and quite symbolically, a return to our initial life source.

Is the water contained in each floatation bath changed between clients? How are they cleaned?

The liquid in the floatation baths is composed of water, Epsom salt and safe cleaning products, all of which are filtered between each session. Additionally, many tests and cleaning procedures are carried out on a daily basis and our water is sampled and tested many times a day in order to guarantee that the highest quality standards are met.

What is Epsom salt and what benefits does it have?

Epsom salt is the common name of magnesium sulphate. When large quantities are dissolved in water as it is in our floatation baths (where more than 2000 cups of it are used), it allows the body to float effortlessly on water. It is also known for its therapeutic effects: helping blood and lymphatic circulation, reducing muscle tension, improving sleep, helping in the control of one's emotions, and reducing stress. It is also used as a safe and natural laxative or purgative solution. Epsom Salt can be purchased in most regular drugstores.

Is there any iodine in Epsom salt?
Epsom salt is free of iodine, therefore safe to use if you're allergic to iodine.
Are there any contraindications (allergies or others) that would prevent anyone from enjoying a floatation bath?

There are no known contraindications to Floatation Baths. However, it is possible that the Epsom salt may irritate any skin sensitivity or wounds. This is why it's best to avoid floating when you have a skin rash or other serious outbreak. If only a small region of your skin is affected, petroleum jelly can be applied to prevent the salt from coming in contact with the sensitive region, allowing the float experience to be a pleasant and comfortable one.

If my hair was recently dyed, is there a risk that the Floatation Bath water might affect the hair colour?

The Epsom Salt and other cleaning products that we use in the water will not affect your hair colouring in any way.  However, it's very important to carefully wash your hair prior to using our floatation baths to make sure none of your hair colouring products gets mixed in to the floatation bath water.

Are your massage therapists trained (masseur versus massage therapists)?
All of our massage therapists have received certified training and are members of a recognized association.
Is it necessary to be completely undressed for your services?

With regards to floatation baths, we strongly recommend experiencing them without clothes for the most comfortable experience. For massage, a cover will always cover you and only the area being massaged is uncovered in order to respect your privacy; it's more comfortable if you're not wearing anything but we respect the wishes of our guests should they want to keep any measure of clothing on.

Is Pulsar (PSiO) dangerous for the eyes?

No. The lights used in the glasses are tiny light emitting diodes (LEDs) which are quite safe and actually of a lower intensity than a regular light bulb. During a session, we recommend you keep your eyes closed to remain in a deeper state of relaxation. If desired, we can adjust the brightness to suit your preference.

I know that flashing lights can trigger epileptic episodes. Am I at risk?

Only a small percentage of the population are unaware that they suffer from epilepsy (i.e. about one in 20,000). For these people, pulsating lights like a strobe can cause discomfort. If you experience any discomfort, simply remove the glasses.

Do you suggest a recommended order when treatments are combined?
How floatation bath and massage are combined is a personal preference so it's entirely up to you. Our services combine perfectly in any way and one treatment will amplify the benefits of the next in any order. We do strongly recommend you have a Pulsar treatment before your floatation bath or massage sessions
What should be first? Floatation Bath or Massage?
Floating before a massage:  in the Therapeutic Floating Bath, the body, the senses and the perceptions are initially subdued; from there follows a deep sense of relaxation, like an initiatory pause. With the massage, the body experiences a sensory rebirth from a trained expert with an intelligent and organized touch, accompanied by music selected for its evocative qualities. Floating after a massage:  after massage, the experience of self-presence offered by the floatation bath favours the integration of the beneficial act of touch. The sensory isolation also allows savouring this sensation in ideal conditions without any disturbance.   Pulsar or NeuroSpa will be suggested as a prelude to either because the relaxation experience of sound and light will bring you quickly and easily into a relaxed state. This will allow you to further appreciate your bath or massage because you'll already be in an ideal state to take advantage of their beneficial effects within minutes of starting them.
I am pregnant. May I float or should I get a massage instead?

The floatation bath is ideal for pregnant women as it allows them to experience weightlessness. Also, contrary to Thermal Spas where temperature variations can be an issue, there are no contraindications for floatation baths where the water is kept at the skin's natural temperature.

Is it possible to share a floatation bath with someone?

The floatation bath is a personal relaxation area of rejuvenation and growth. The space was carefully designed to comfortably accommodate one person. It isn't suitable for two or more people.

Is it possible to receive a massage in the same room as someone else?
Our massage therapy rooms were designed to only accommodate one person at a time.

How can I be sure that no one will try to use my account, getting a massage using my subscription under my name?

Do you have any parking available?

It's pretty easy to find parking on the nearby streets. But please be sure to check the hours on signs for reserved parking spots, paid parking, and sticker-holder areas at all times.
